Another week passes by. Its amazing how time flies when you're not working. I have several leads and have increased my submission in the free agency market this week. Hopefully something will come up soon. Not much going on this week, just preparing for my first tennis tournament next weekend. Its a doubles tourney but I'm still a lil nervous.

In sports, its still a close race in the National League but here are the 4 teams I think will make it to the playoffs: Mets, Cubs, Diamondbacks and Padres. The San Francisco Giants announced that they will not resign Barry Bonds... Oakland? Yankees next season? The U.S. women's world cup team lost to Brazil in the semi-finals, 4-0. Sean Marion wants to be traded from the only team that has a shot at winning the NBA title next season (Suns) to a subpar playoff team (Lakers). Corliss Williamson (Kings) will finally retire from the NBA. In the NFL, the Steelers are still 3-0 and the Broncos lost their first game at 2-1. I finally lost in my fantasy leagues but luckily its the non-$$ league. So now I'm 3-0, 3-0, 2-1.

Funny commercial..

Not much going on the past week. I've been a lil upset about the news coverage the past few days, it seems the only highlight or talked about news is OJ Simpson. There are a lot of other issues out there around the world right now and all I hear on MSNBC or CNN is OJ.

On to sports. It looks like the Red Sox, Yankees, Indians and Angels will make the playoffs for the American League and 5 teams in the National League battling it out for 4 spots. Can't wait for the NBA season to start next month. I'm curious to see if the Kings will make any trades before pre-season. In football, Broncos steal a win from the Raiders and the Steelers blow out the Bills. I won again in all 3 of my fantasy leagues to start out at 2-0. Although, this week will be a lil tough for me in 2 of my leagues.

Can't believe its been 6 years since the 9/11 attacks. I still remember that morning as if it were yesterday...pretty crazy. Anyway, I finally updated my website with more wedding pictures, wedding candids, Rog and Suzie's trip, Aileen's birthday pics, Ferdinand's baptism, and last but not least....the honeymoon pictures!! Thanks for all who showed up to my birthday dinner last Friday. It was great seeing you all, especially since its been a while since we last hung out. I also posted those pictures on my site.

In sports, I won all 3 of my fantasy football matchups in the first week. Surprisingly, I also have Sean Alexander as my 1st round draft in each one. Steelers and Broncos win their first game, although the Broncos game was more exciting to watch. Tennis is still going on for Monday nights or Tuesday mornings. Email me if you would like to join us. So far its been Arnel, Jay, Lenin, Willie and Aileen. To get other recreational sports news for Make it Rain, Fighting Bens and Team Brenneman go to my sportspage.

I know its been a while since I updated my site. I changed the outline of contents on the main page to have a more professional look. Also added an About Me link for potential employers. Take a look at the wedding slideshow I put together. I'll post the honeymoon pics on the picturespage this week. I also updated some of the wedding pictures from last year's weddings to include the pictures that Lenin took (Jay, Arnel, Tyrone, and Lee's wedding), also the class reunion pictures and Vegas.

As for sports, time and luck has run out for the Oakland A's as they most likely will not make it to the playoffs. Check out the sportspage for info on Maier's Fighting Bens softball team and Will's work basketball team. Soon to come, Lenin's Spartans basketball team will begin their season this Sunday.
