Again, great weather the past week here in Sacramento. Hopefully it'll stay like this until next week at our annual Turkey Bowl. So far my team been undefeated the past 6 or 7 years since Lenin had started it. Tomorrow I leave to Hawaii for my grandfather's funeral, Benjamin Fines, and to visit all of my cousins and family members whom I haven't seen in years. Not much else going on in the news.

In sports, the Kings are 2-5 and finally have Artest back in the lineup after his suspension. The Steelers pulled a come from behind victory over the Browns last Sunday and are now 7-2. My fantasy football team records are: 5-5, 6-4, 5-5. My fantasy basketball record is: 8-12.

Here's a hilarious clip and tip from Fire Marshall Bill...

The nice weather continues here in Sacramento and it seems like its going to be a warmer November. The NBA started last week and as expected, the Kings are winless at 0-3. Some of the critics say that the Kings will only win 34 wins this season. After watching a couple of their games it seems as if those expectations are too high. I'd give the Kings maybe 30 wins and maybe the 3rd pick in the 2008 draft. In football, the Patriots win their 9th straight victory over the Colts. Hopefully the Steelers can beat them in Week 14. In baseball, the Red Sox sweep the Rockies. This series was really boring to watch. The Rockies were simply outplayed and unskilled to handle the Red Sox offense. In tennis, one of my favorite women's tennis players, Martina Hingis, retires from tennis after an alleged cocaine scandal.

In Rec Sports, Parkhurst's Deposed Kings (aka Freeze Ted Williams) lose their first game of the season in the Davis basketball league. Lenin's Make it Rain go undefeated and win the 2007 West Sacramento fall basketball championship on Sunday.
