May 21, 2006:

Time is going by too fast this month. Finally finished my Japanese class. Probably got away with a "B". Not too bad, but at least I'm understanding it a lot better. Definitely going to take the intermediate class next semester. Rog's Bachelor party was an enjoyable as we ventured in surf town, Santa Cruz. The drive up there was very stressful. My clutch almost died on me as we spent 2 hours going up the mountain on Highway 17 in traffic. I will never go up there again during rush hour. I had to exit near the summit for about 20 minutes so my clutch would cool down. What a difference that made, as the traffic started to clear up. Finally made it in to town after nearly 5 hours of traffic. Saturday was pretty busy as we started off our morning playing basketball at UC Santa Cruz (beautiful campus!), went hiking, followed by surfing, and then went bar hopping in ritzy Capitola.

Got back early today (only 2 1/2 hours) in time to play our third basketball game. We lost but kept up with the best team in the league. Rex Kwon Do's record is 1-2. Next game is Jun. 11 vs. The Champs @ 3:30pm. Also did an old school bowling social with the homies. That was pretty fun. I'll post Len's pics on the website soon.

May 9, 2006:

Unfortuneately the Kings lost last Friday's game to the Spurs. On top of that, the Maloofs also fired Adelman today!! Wonder whose gonna coach the Kings next year?? Hopefully they'll keep most of the real clutch players.... Bibby & Miller for Garnett??? We'll see. Anyway, finally got the invite on 2 softball teams for Thursdays and Fridays, still a bit rusty but not worried yet. Tram & I are enrolled in tennis lessons.... a new sport? maybe. But at least I found a sport that both of us enjoy. Lenin's Jokers basketball team started up last Sunday. We lost to a pretty bad team and our team shot pretty poorly. I didn't take the stats for the game. Next game is this Sunday @ 3:30pm.

May 2, 2006:

I know its been a while since I updated this so I'm gonna try to sum up whats happened the past 3 weeks. It has finally stopped raining about 2 weeks ago, now its just been really warm mid to high 80s! We probably only had a week of Spring and now Summer is creeping along. Check out this picture of this freakish accident that happened April 24th. A drunk driver almost hit my sister as she was pulling into the driveway. He swerved almost hit my Neon!! and then ended up ramming into both of my neighbor's cars. Click on the image to view more clips.

Kings are down 2-3 vs. the Spurs in the 1st round. I really hope they can force a game 7 with a win this Friday. FTW are on a winning streak at 4-1. Next game is this Thursday @ 7:15pm.

FTW try to win their 5th game this Thursday @ 7:15pm. They are currently 4-1 and hold a 3-way tie for 1st place.
