MARCH ANNOUNCEMENTS

• March 29, 2001: Recap on sporting events as of today:

1. Franklin Templeton go on a 3 game losing streak as they lose to a scrub team, Milgard.  The next game is next Wednesday vs. Wheets @ 6:00pm
2. Armed & Dangerous lose to The Acquisitions as they drop their 3rd straight loss.  Next game is next Wednesday vs. Outta R League @ 7:30pm.
3. Cris Williamson smashes a 3-run homer that wasn't enough to beat #1 C-League team, Franklin.  Scooby's Cricket falls to 1-2.  Next game is next Thursday vs. Sac Town Players @ 6:30pm.

• March 27, 2001: Jason Cooley shall be celebrating his 24th birthday party at his parent's house at about 7:30 pm and shall convene at Leatherbye's around 9:30 pm.  If you need directions to his house you can email him or call him at 564-8323.
• March 27, 2001: Here is a recap in the sporting events that occurred as of today:

1. Nick's Softball Fury's lose their second straight game as they lose to Our Gang, 16-2.
2. The Smashers (Filipino Basketball) loses its 4th game to the Samahan Basketball, their record is 3-4.
3. The Gamecocks lose to Emigh Hardware to even their record at 1-1.  They were without two allstars, Pat Jimenez & Stewart Fines.
4. Armed & Dangerous lose their 2nd straight game to Sportscardmania.  Armed & Dangerous have been undermanned the past two games by only playing 8.  Next game is this Wednesday vs. The Acquisitions @ 6:30pm.
5. Franklin Templeton lose to the #1 team OAG, in a controversial game where the pack was trailing by 5 points with 2 minutes to go until the referee called "3" consecutive technical fouls on Robert, forfeiting the game due to policy.  Next game is this Wednesday vs. Milgard @ 7:00pm.
6. Jason's Scooby's Cricket gets slaughtered by Rivermules, 17-6.  Next game is this Thursday vs. Franklin @ 8:30pm.
7. Nick's Softball Fury lose their third straight game to "Supposedly C-league team" Happy Hour 17-5.  Next game is this Friday vs. Hyatt Heat @ 6:15pm. 
8. The Gamecocks lose their 2nd straight to Primetime as they attempted to comeback from a 22 point deficit in the final at-bat by scoring 11 in the last inning.  Their next game is this Sunday vs. Raw Doggs @ 5:00pm.

• March 16, 2001: Just updated the Softball and Basketball section of my web page.  Also added the new Homerun Derby tracker on the upper left part of my home page.
• March 17, 2001: SAINT PATRICK'S DAY
• March 17, 2001: We shall be celebrating Patrick & Joanne's Birthday at Chevy's on SUNRISE BLVD @ 6:30 pm.  We shall then convene to Harlows.  Please call Pat at 402-6807 or me at 524-7596 to RSVP.  Hope to see all of you there!!!
• March 15, 2001: Here is a recap of the sporting events ending Thursday, March 15, 2001:

1. The Smashers II lose in the CSUS Intramural Playoffs as they end the year at 3 - 5.
2. Arnel and Nick's Softball Furys lose their first game of the season to the New Start, 
   14 - 8. Next game is tomorrow, March 16 @ 8:25 pm.
3. The Warriors Soccer team loses its season opener 8 - 5. Next game is March 16 @ 7:00 pm.
4. The Smashers (Filipino Basketball) beats Hot Shot to go .500 (3 - 3).  Lenin lead the team with 31 points!!  Next game is Sunday, March 18 @ 6:00 pm.
5. The Undefeated Smashers (Jose Rizal) lose in the first round playoffs by the call of the officials.
6. The Gamecocks of Howe Park (Sunday) defeat Raw Doggs in their season opener on a game winning RBI by Stewart. Next game is Sunday, March 18 @ 6:00 pm.
7. Franklin Templeton basketball team defeats Ellis & Ellis as they pick up their first win of the season with a 1 - 2 record. Next game is Wednesday, March 21 @ 8:00 pm.
8. Armed & Dangerous Co-ed Team loses by a run in their season opener.  Next game is Wednesday, March 21.
9. Scooby's Crickets win their season opener versus Fighting Bens by a nail-biting 16 - 15. Stewart homered twice (Grandslam, 2-run Homer) with 7 RBI taking the lead in this year's Homerun Race.  "I've finally come out of my slump and I'm gonna win the HR race this year!" says Stewart.  Next game is March 22 @ 6:30 pm.

• March 9, 2001:  Howe Softball League begins.  Game starts at 9:00 PM.
• March 11, 2001: 

1. Howe Softball League begins.  Patrick Jimenez's All Stars begin play at 8:00 PM.  
2. Lenin's Filipino Basketball team, SMASHERS (2-3) play at 2:00 PM.

• March 15, 2001: Jason's Mather Softball Team, Scooby's Crickets, begin play at 8:30PM.
