June 29, 2004: Can you say "winning streak?" That's right, Double Pen is officially on a winning streak and currently tied for 1st with 2 other teams at 3-1. Double Pen came out during the early innings to pounce on Health Net, 10-2. Next game is JULY 12th at 7:30pm. Next week is a holiday.

June 23, 2004: Double Pen win their 1st legit game of the season to go 2-1 for the 1st Half. The 8-Man Team pounded the runs early in the game and held on to the lead through 6 innings as they win 9-7. Next game is at 6:30 PM on June 28.

June 17, 2004: Double Pen lose their first game of the season as they go the whole distance against M2, 9-6. Next game is on Monday, June 21 at 8:30pm. Update on the basketball league: Practice will be held on weekends and occasional weekdays... Stay tuned for more information.

June 7, 2004: Can you believe its been a while since we've gone without playing in a league? Anyway, Rog and I finished the San Diego Marathon June 6. I will have some pictures of my vacation posted pretty soon. As for the Softball League, Double Pen wins their first game of the Summer season....by forfeit. But we'll take any win we can get to start off at 1-0. As for the Filipino League, first game is supposed to start in mid-July. I know what you're thinking, that its too damn long to go without a league, which is why I have decided to put together an open league at Mather that starts first week of July on Wednesdays.
