Remember this day in American history. Barack Obama was inaugurated today as our 44th President. Now its time to see if America's "change" has come. I believe that the first couple years will be tough for our 44th President but we will finally see some light in our nation. In other news, the weather here in Sacramento doesn't feel at all like winter with the highs being in the high 60s. I remember last year during this time, it rained practically every day in January.

In sports, the Australian Open started this past weekend. Here is my prediction for the finals: Federer vs. Murray. The Steelers advanced to the Super Bowl against the Arizona Cardinals, I think we all know who will win. Here's a hint it begins with the word "steel". The Kings are 4th from the last place in the LEAGUE!!

In rec sports, Parkhurst's Kings are on a 2-game winning streak with their record at 2-3. Arnel's Jokers finally win their first game of the season and are at 1-3.

Happy New Year!! The old year is behind us and 2009 is finally here. With the new year comes new (or old) resolutions, a new president, a new economic year, a new view, a clean slate and of course all its uncertainty. Tram and I vacationed in Vancouver a couple weeks ago. Turns out we were there to witness their first white christmas since 1971. I posted most of the pictures on the picturespage. Vancouver was a very beautiful city and you could almost mistaken it for a normal American city. Since we were there during a major snow storm, most of the tourist attractions were either closed or had limited access. I'm sure the city would be a lot better during Spring or Summer since most of the tourist attractions involve being outdoors.

In sports, the Kings are one of the worst teams in the league at 8-26. Even with the coaching change, the players are still not getting it done. The divisional playoffs for NFL are next week with the Steelers playing the Chargers for a conference spot. The Australian Open begins in 2 weeks. In rec sports, Arnel's Jokers begin the season with a 2 game losing streak. Parkhurst's Kings are 1-2 and will begin play after the break this week.
