Less than 2 weeks until Christmas and only 3 weeks left in the year. Finally starting to feel like winter in Sac. In basketball, the Kings are amid some of the trade rumors going around in the Iverson sweepstakes. It doesn't look like it'll happen though. What the Kings need is a real center. In fantasy football, I didn't make it in my work league. I advanced to the semi's in Jay's league and advanced to the wild card playoffs in my San Diego league. Both are money leagues. Freeze Ted Williams basketball league lose their 2nd game to go .500. Next game is January 4, 2007 @ 9:15pm.

Its been a couple weeks since my last update. Finished the CIM over the weekend in record time: 4:04!! I was keeping up with the 3:40 pace team until the 20th mile. After that my legs started feeling like stumps and I had to slow down. Around the 22nd mile I was in pain and had to do the run-walk-run method the rest of the way. There were a lot of hills during the first 10 miles that drained my energy and endurance. The longest I trained for this marathon was 20 miles a week earlier. Next time I'll bump up my training so I can break 4 hours!! This marathon should be the last for the year, no telling how many I'll do next year.

In basketball, Kings fall 1 game below .500 to go 8-9 and they are currently on a 4 game losing streak with Miami tonight. In football, Steelers are no longer in the hunt for the playoffs as they are currently 5-7, all they have to prove now is to get over .500 mark and wait for next season. In fantasy football, I made the #1 spot in Jay's league at 10-3, playoffs start this week. Work league: 4-9, San Diego league: 8-5.
