Three weeks later and a lot of stuff happening. Lately we've had a taste of summer in Sac with temperatures being in the high 80s, then it dips down to spring weather with the highs being in the low 70s. Only about 6 weeks left until the San Diego marathon. This weekend Tram and I have an 18 mile run.
In sports, the Oakland A's are currently tied in 1st place for their division at 12-8 with the Angels. Memphis chokes in the championship and Kansas wins the 2008 NCAA title. The NBA basketball playoffs began this weekend. The games to watch: Spurs vs. Suns, Mavericks vs. Hornets, Lakers vs. Nuggets, and Cavs vs. Wizards. Vote for your champion here.
Here's the NBA's top 10 dunks of the 2007-2008 season. Enjoy...
It definitely has been a while since I last updated my website. A lot has happened during the month of March. First off congratulations to Patrick and Veronica, the proud parents of their new baby boy, Elias Santiago Jimenez. Elias was born on March 10. Much love, support and prayers goes out to the Cooley family for enduring a hard month. Let me know if you ever need anything, I'll always be here for ya. Can you believe it only rained once in March? Believe it, because the months of April and May have been forcasted to be full of rain.
In sports, the final four boils down to the #1 seeds in each division: Memphis, Kansas, North Carolina and UCLA. I have Memphis winning in both my brackets. Unfortuneately, it doesn't look like I can get higher than 2nd place. The Kings are 1 game (35-40) better than last season with 7 games to go. Baseball season started this week. My prediction for the A's is that they'll probably be wild card contenders but fall short of making the playoffs.
Here's a funny clip from Jimmy Kimmel...
