APRIL 2004

April 29, 2004: The Force lose their 2nd game in the 2nd half as they fall apart in the last inning to give up 11 runs, falling to MWH, 22-12. Next game is Monday, May 3 at 7:30 pm.

April 28, 2004: The Force lose their 6th game of the season to Baller's Delight, 47-35. The Force shot one of their worst shooting percentages at 27% (12-45 FG). Last game is this Sunday, May 2nd at 2pm vs. the #1 Team in the League.

April 20, 2004: Double Pen lose to the 1st half champions, 12-22, while batting a team high .542 on 13-24. Stewart starts his Home Run streak hitting another dong in this game. Double Pen also score a season high 12 runs, scoring 8 runs in one inning at one point. Next game is Monday, April 26 vs. MWH at 7:30 PM.

April 19, 2004: The Force win their second game of the season over Seabiscuit, 52-45. The Force shoot a season high 49% on 20-41 from the field and 82% on 9-11 from the line. Next game is against last seed Baller's Delight at 7PM next Sunday, April 25.

April 13, 2004: The Force has the Easter weekend off. Double Pen finally win their first game of the season. They are currently 1-0 for the last half of the season. Battling their way against Ball Busters, whom during their last meeting pounded DP 34-0, good defense and patient hitting were key as Double Pen put the clanks on 6-4. Next game is April 19 vs. #1 1st half winner Folsom Bulls at 8:30 PM.

April 8, 2004: The FORCE lose a close game to #1 Empire, 62-51. Lenin scores a game/season high 24 points on 11-20 shooting, Willie records his first double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Next game is April 18 at 5pm. Double Pen lose again this time to the #1 Folsom Bulls, 20-4. A new half begins next game on April 11 at 6:30PM. Double Pen finished the 1st Half with an 0-5 record.

April 2, 2004: The losing streak ends for the FORCE!! Lenin scores a season high 17 points as the Force squeak by Flipskwad, 42-35. They also shoot a team high freethrows, 14-20. Next game is on April 4 vs. Empire at 7 pm. In Softball, the losing streak continues for Double Pen, as they fall to The Beers 24-1. Double Pen continues to struggle offensively as they are now batting a Team Average of .343, next game is April 5 vs. undefeated Folsom Bulls at 7:30 pm.
